This is how you sit in a baseball glove. At least, that was one of the ideas Charles Eames had in mind when designing this club chair. The Lounge Chair was intended to be a comfort armchair that you could sink into luxuriously. Through the construction of three interconnected, movable seat shells and a comfortable upholstery, Charles Eames succeeded in the realization. Actually, the club chair with a rotating base is a contrast to the Bauhaus characteristics that emphasized minimalism and functionality. Nevertheless, it became a classic of Bauhaus history and still provides absolute comfort with style in many living rooms and clubs.
